~For club eligible bikes, so......
**No modern machines thank you**
~Saturday arvo ride commences at 1pm
~Sunday ride commences at 8am
~Cost-: $30 for HMCCQ members (includes evening meal on Saturday, breakfast & lunch on Sunday, smokos and camping overnight on Saturday.)
~Due to site/catering restrictions, we are limited to
just 30 riders.
~Location-: Ross and Donna-Maree Rieschieck's property at....
1154 Pechey-Maclagan Road, Groomsville (See map link above)
~The MAD rally was originally conceived for older dirt bikes, so the pace will be a bit slower than that on other dirt rallies.
~To encourage riders to use street scrambler and other converted road type machines, ISDT replicas, etc., there will be a prize for the most interesting twin shock machine, however all club eligible machines are most welcome.
~The routes will be interesting and could be (and have been) tackled on ordinary road bikes (although a dirt type tyre on the front is highly recommended).
~A back-up vehicle and a sweep rider will be provided, so that the less experienced riders do not get left behind.
~Hopefully (restrictions permitting) there will be a campfire around which to sit and enjoy the ambiance.
~Please call Ross on 0487 677 357, or Donna-Maree on 0409 580 016, if you intend coming along, so that we can arrange the catering.
