Gladstone Area
The Gladstone Area was formed in 2005 and has run continuously since. We currently have 47 members with 15 regularly attending meetings. Gladstone is an industrial town with many members working shift. We are a friendly group that encourages all makes and models of motorcycle.
Meetings
Meetings are held on the evening of the first Tuesday of each month (except January) at the St John’s Hall, 27 Dawson Road, West Gladstone. Meetings commence at 7PM with a BBQ and chin wag starting at 6PM.
Activities
During the year we share many activities with the other nearby Areas:
- Capricorn Rally is shared between Rockhampton, Childers and Gladstone on an annual rotational basis.
- Wagon Wheel run is a gathering of areas with the trophy going to the area with the most club eligible bikes ridden to the event. The trophy winner arranges the location of the following year’s event. The venue is usually a small country pub with camping facilities.
- All Bike Classic is a show open to any motorcycle. The shows are held biannually with the last being in conjunction with the Raglan Fly In in 2021.
- Regular rides for breakfast/coffee/lunch organised by members
