IPSWICH AREA

 

Ipswich Area of the Historic Motorcycle Club of Queensland was established in February 1988. Ipswich area has approximately 100 members with motorcycles of different makes and ages. We are proud of our participation in Ipswich Historical Society events such as Family Fun Days and local school visits along with our inclusion in other local activities such as Galvanised, Sky Iron and Planes Trains and Autos.

Meetings:

Visitors and prospective members are welcome to come long to our meetings which take place on the first Wednesday of each month (except in January). Doors open to our clubhouse at the Cooneana Heritage Centre, 1041 Redbank Plains Rd, New Chum 4303 open at 7pm with the meeting kicking off at 7.30pm.

Activities:

We host a 2-day rally event in June each year which is well attended by members and associates.

 

Regular rides:

All rides leave from the Cooneana Heritage Centre at 9am

  • Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday Bitumen/Road ride
  • Every 1st, 3rd and 5th Tuesday Off Road/Dirt ride
  • Sunday rides on the Sunday immediately following the monthly meeting.
