About this event

HMCCQ, through the Pine Rivers Area, have been asked to provide a motorbike display for the annual charity event Red Ride – Ride Against Domestic Violence at the Caboolture Showgrounds on Saturday 16 May.

Our motorbike display will join the regular car display on show, so this is a great opportunity for us to promote our Club to a crowd full of bike and car enthusiasts (our target audience!), all while helping organisers raise funds and awareness of the impacts of domestic and family violence in Moreton Bay.

All members are encouraged to come along and display your bike. Other Areas are also invited to join in the display - the more the merrier!

Getting there

The Pine Rivers area will be leading a group ride from Old Petrie Town to Caboolture for those who would like to ride up on the day:

~We’ll meet at and leave from the Old Petrie Town. Stands up at 8.00am sharp.
~There will be one pick-up stop along the way. Meet at the BP Narangba at 8.15am, stands-up at 8.20am.
~We're aiming to arrive at the Caboolture Showgrounds around 9.00am.

~If you prefer to make your own way there, please aim to arrive at the Caboolture Showgrounds (Beerburrum Road) between 9.00am and 9.30am (gate number and trailer parking area TBA).

What’s involved

With the event kicking off at 10am, the bike and car display will be the main attraction for the crowd until 12.00pm, when the Red Ride participants are expected to return to the showgrounds.

This gives us a great opportunity to take centre stage during the busiest part of the morning and really showcase our Club. We will have a marquee and table set up near our display, with calendars to sell and copies of our previous journals to give away. Anyone is welcome to help us engage with the crowd and promote our Club.

There is plenty more happening on the day beyond the display. The Red Ride event is also a family-friendly fun day out with free carnival rides, market stalls, food vendors and lots of entertainment, so it should draw a great crowd if numbers from last year are anything to go by.

For members displaying their bikes, entry is free. However, a gold coin donation at the gate is most welcome. All profits raised by the event will be distributed to charity organisations within the Moreton Bay Region that provide services to those experiencing domestic violence, as well as helping raise awareness of the impacts of domestic and family violence in our community.

You are welcome to leave the event at any time.

Your support in this event not only helps raise awareness for an important community cause but strengthens our presence in the region, helping to showcase the passion and history of our Club.

We’d love to see a strong turnout from as many members as possible.
