Dave‘s Tuesday Mountain ride to Mount Glorious for pre 1974 drum brake bikes.
About an hour up and an hour back with everyone relaxing with a coffee at the cafe at Mount Glorious. Often a dozen or more machines take part and the ranks grow as riders from Samford Valley and as far as Ipswich converge on the cafe fromtheir respective directions, making it a great ride and regular social event.
The ride starts at the BP servo at Cornubia at 9am.
All bikes included with the destination being the beach at Victoria Point just past the ferry terminal. A number of partners and friends join in for a social chat and an occasional BBQ on the public facilities. Wet weather doesn‘t deter with members retiring to the bakery where shelter is plentiful.
Harry’s Heroes on Wednesdays (2nd Wed. of the month is a long ride) and Sundays leaving from Ransome service station corner of Green Camp Rd. and Molle Rd at 9.30am sharp.
One of the clubs longest running rides started by Harry Daw, an early member and successful midget speedway racer, some 30 years ago. A good number of our senior members have been regulars for the last 20 odd years. Destination is mostly the Jetty Café at Redlands with an occasional change to Mount Tambourine. The cohort is flexible so all bikes are welcome although one ride each month is reserved for genuine older vintage and veteran steeds. The ride proves popular to this day with a good number of our newer members joining in and carrying the tradition forward.
The ride starts every Friday at 9am from the BP servo at Cornubia.
This is indeed about the ride, with nice level country and gently winding roads though the sugar cane country. Great for new and experienced riders and machines alike. Meeting in the carpark at the boat ramp at Jacobs Well for a BYO morning tea and coffee. Popular across the full range of machines and riders.
All areas invited for this approx 110km ride from the Harrisville Hotel, commencing at 9am
